Kammenos proud of armed forces in Christmas message

"On the occasion of the Nativity Day, I would like to express my warmest wishes to the Armed Forces personnel, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, sailors, airmen, civilian personnel and ethnic guards," said National Defense Minister Panos Kamenos in a message for the Christmas celebration.
"I had the pleasure, during my recent visit to Military Formations and to the outposts of the Frontier and the Aegean islands, to see once again the high morale, the professionalism and the dedication to the duty of the staff, wherever they serve, under any circumstances.
I feel really proud of you and every one of you who serve the Homeland, in every Unit of the Army, the Navy and the Air Force, in every corner of Greek territory, inspiring at the same time unity for the Greek people, with your uninterrupted and tireless contribution to the Greek society, wherever you are asked.
I wholeheartedly wish the Bethlehem star with the promising message of peace and unity illuminates the lives of all of us and to bring to you and your families happiness and prosperity. Merry Christmas," Kammenos said.
