Mitsotakis calls Soltz: Eastern Mediterranean, Ukraine and bilateral relations discussed

The Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a telephone conversation with the new Chancellor of Germany Olaf Solz.
The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Soltz on the assumption of his duties and expressed the will of Greece to strengthen bilateral relations.
The two leaders exchanged views on developments in Ukraine, stressing the need to maintain European unity, open channels with Russia and respect for Ukraine's territorial integrity, as an aggressive move would have serious consequences.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis briefed Soltz on developments in the Eastern Mediterranean. They also discussed developments in the Western Balkans. The Prime Minister underlined that there is a positive dynamic for the strengthening of bilateral economic relations and for German investments in Greece.
Messrs. Mitsotakis and Soltz agreed to meet as soon as possible.
