Paros: Among the three "destinations of the year"

The Unpack ’24 report was based on primary travel data from the Expedia group (Expedia®, Hotels.com® and Vrbo®) and a survey of 20,000 travelers, and includes eight travel trends for 2024.

Among other things, it reveals that Paros, Pattaya and Perth are the three Destinations of the Year, that half of travelers are expected to adopt artificial intelligence in their travels, and that artist tours (Tour tourism), alcohol-free travel (Dry Tripping) and getaways with loved ones to celebrate anniversaries (Go-ccasions) will be the top types of travel in 2024.

The trend, which is about finding affordable alternatives to expensive products, has also reached travel. Expedia's Destinations of the Year are relatively unexpected destinations, sometimes more affordable, but just as impressive as the famous destinations that everyone loves.
