Who would have imagined that such a renown theater as the Ziegfield Theater on Broadway in New York City would present to audiences a Greek made film! This was accomplished by actor, director, and writer, Christopher Papakaliatis with his film "What If " (or "Av" in Greek) as part of the 7th Annual New York City Greek Film Festival, which is running from October 3rd through October 16th.

Four men were arrested, two of whom were Rabbis, in New York for abducting and torturing Orthodox Jewish men in order to force them to grant their wives a religious divorce.

Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo, is experiencing legal problems in India, due to published pictures of her photo shoot at the Taj Mahal, a holy sanctuary for Hindus in India. Ms. Culpo is in violation of what's called India's Heritage Act, wherein permits have to be issued for such pictures to be taken at this site.
